From a single rose of hope to a garden of transformation
Founded by survivors and advocates, Red Rose Foundation began with a single mission: to create a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic violence in Plant City, Florida.
Our emergency shelter welcomed its first families, providing safe housing, meals, and crisis support to those fleeing violence with nowhere else to turn.
Launched our Bloom After Trauma program to address the long-term needs of survivors through empowerment workshops and life skills training.
Recognizing the silent suffering of children exposed to violence, we established specialized services to help young hearts heal through therapy and enrichment activities.
During the pandemic, we expanded our services to meet increased need, implementing safety protocols while continuing to provide essential support to survivors.
Opened our social enterprise thrift store to provide job training for survivors while generating sustainable revenue for our programs.
Launched our advocacy and awareness program to amplify survivor voices and work toward ending the cycle of violence through education and policy change.
Celebrated serving over 500 women and children, with expanded programs and a growing community of supporters dedicated to our mission.
To empower women and children impacted by domestic violence, poverty, and systemic barriers through trauma-informed support services, advocacy, and education—planting seeds of hope and resilience.
A world where every woman and child—regardless of background—blooms with dignity, safety, and opportunity.
Every person has the right to be safe, heard, and respected.
We lead with empathy and trauma-informed care.
We nurture confidence, independence, and leadership.
We break cycles of generational poverty and injustice.
We grow stronger together.
