About Us - Red Rose Foundation

Our Journey Began in 2016

From a single rose of hope to a garden of transformation

2016

The Seed is Planted

Founded by survivors and advocates, Red Rose Foundation began with a single mission: to create a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic violence in Plant City, Florida.

2017

Rose House Opens

Our emergency shelter welcomed its first families, providing safe housing, meals, and crisis support to those fleeing violence with nowhere else to turn.

2018

Expanding Services

Launched our Bloom After Trauma program to address the long-term needs of survivors through empowerment workshops and life skills training.

2019

Little Buds Program

Recognizing the silent suffering of children exposed to violence, we established specialized services to help young hearts heal through therapy and enrichment activities.

2020

Adapting to Crisis

During the pandemic, we expanded our services to meet increased need, implementing safety protocols while continuing to provide essential support to survivors.

2021

Red Rose Resale Launch

Opened our social enterprise thrift store to provide job training for survivors while generating sustainable revenue for our programs.

2022

Voices in Bloom

Launched our advocacy and awareness program to amplify survivor voices and work toward ending the cycle of violence through education and policy change.

2023

Growing Impact

Celebrated serving over 500 women and children, with expanded programs and a growing community of supporters dedicated to our mission.
